We enjoyed our cruise but felt NCL had tightened up on most everything there. So many things were an up charge.
We felt they were trying to push us toward the buffet or special dining. Wondering if they are trying to remove the free dining rooms!?!?

Food and Dining

Desserts were AWFUL!
Apple pie was like rubber.
Cheesecake like thick pudding.
Soft serve ice didn’t freeze hard enough, preventing everyone from taking too much.
Pastries in buffet were few, maybe 3 different ones each day.
They were pushing the buffet for dinner hard!
Dining room staff needs more training, not very professional. Understaffed, they were very busy. They were very friendly and tried their best.
We injoyed the Texas Smokehouse but the peach cobbler was bad.
The Local was good for us! My husband would have ate there every time!
The steak house was always booked up.
We left without being able to use our complete dining package.

Entertainment

The comedy club was good but the venue wasn’t large enough. Had to have reservations!!
Children's Programs

You had to go early or you wouldn’t be able to get your child in. If they were full, many would sit outside and wait for someone to take their child out. Many waited an hour or more!
Our grandkids didn’t like it as much as RCCL.
Service and Staff

Everyone was friendly and doing their best. My requests were always met. Had to ask for ice in our cabin. Before it was automatically given.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin size was average, no complaints. Storage was just OK. They had shelves but no drawers.
Our cabin Stewart did a great job of keeping our room clean but it was after lunch before he got it made up. I’m guessing he had so many to take care of.
Ship tip
If you buy the dining package, make reservations before leaving home!
