honestly wish we wouldnt have spent so much on this trip it was NOT worth it ...worst value we have EVER encountered on a vacation

while the boat was lovely we just felt service was not where it could be ...it is absolutely sad how everything is an upcharge like the internet, a soda etc

We brought our own refillable water containers on our last cruise thank goodness. They charged $2 for a bottle. but if you fill it yourself from their big water containers, it’s free. That’s what I would recommend. Stupid though that the drink package doesn’t include water.

Of Course we are all entitled to our own experiences and opinions however having just come off the Bliss I could not disagree anymore. Unlimited beverages are generous and very hefty pours at the bar. This was our fourth or fifth NCL cruise and I would say the food in the main dining room has improved greatly and most items were quite tasty. The front massive observation lounge was spectacular Although crowded most of the time. Jersey boys was fantastic, loved having a full service full-size Starbucks on board the ship was beautifully appointed and on and on and on I can’t say enough good about the ship and of course we had a great time in Alaska!

Need to elaborate more on the reason for the poor ratings. What about the food, activities, and entertainment. Yes paid for some things, but when I was on the Escape I didn't pay a dime for any entertainment. So what was paid for? The race track and laser tag are a small fee, and from what ive read 100% worth it.

Did you not know ahead of time of the extra charges on certain things? It’s posted all over the NCL site and this one. Could it have been sea sick and not Carney’s? I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. How could you not have a great vacation in Alaska on a gorgeous ship?

With drink package, you had to get your soda from the bar but bottle water wasn’t included. I didn’t like that either.
