Review summary

We had a great time, very easy boarding in Seattle. The ship is beautiful, and the staff is so nice and take care of all your needs. The food was delicious and lots of it. The only bad thing about the ship was that you had inconsiderate people sleeping in the Observation lounge, taking up couches and loungers. If the want to sleep go to your cabin. NCL should take out everything to sit on except individual seats. The Saxman Village was not worth seeing, they didn't know how to run a tour, walked you back and forth on the same grass area in the rain trying to figure what to do with you. Victoria BC, didn't have a clue this size ship was coming to them, they had about 4 buses and about 8 taxis to taker people into town if you didn't do a tour, long lines and a long wait. We just got back on ship, rather than go into town,had a nice day. Overall, this was a fabulous trip.

Plungers = loungers

Since NCL doesn't appear to want to handle the plungers spread out in the Observation Deck lounge, what if one would ask the person spread out to sit up so others can enjoy the furniture designed for 2 or 3 people. Or better yet, just side down and make your own room. I experienced this on my the first Bliss Alaska cruise. Responses can range from the lounger getting up and leaving to them refusing to share the seat. I think confrontation to rude people sometimes works. There were many people in the lounge feeling the same way I did. I don't think this will work by the pool.

Thanks! Did you do Saxman Village tour with the cruise line or via other operator? Thanks

I hope I don't experience these issues when my cruise comes up in May 2019.

I agree totally . Boarding on Saturday and I am really excited!! However these observation lounge posts are making me very irritated . Why do people feel the need to sleep in public places ?? The rest of us paid good money and lots of it to get on. If you want to sleep ... go to your cabin and sleep 😡

After all the reports on here about the people sleeping in there you would think they would do something about it.

Oh wow, I just keep seeing multiple posts’ about that Observation lounge and people sleeping or commandeering the loungers for hours! You’re right, they need to take them out or post a time limit!
