Review summary

NO defined gluten free section for dining, always waiting for a seat, food was very good, as a first time Norwegian cruiser we missed a lot of entertainment due to having to book shows, all gone virtually after first day or time we wanted.some very rude people around especially at the elevators. the observation lounge looks very good concept except that loungers were being booked by 6am with people just sleeping there all day a great waste of seating for other guests.as usual sun bed grabbers out early. the package we had included2 litres of water a day unfortunately this was delivered in bulk on day 1, taking up what little space we had, what really annoyed me was if you don't drink it all the advice was give it away to other guests or the steward or they would THROW it away. The closets are really small and dark no draws just shelves easy to miss stuff in the darkness. We have had better cruises on smaller ships. The Panama Canal was a bit disappointing as most vantage points were packed so unable to see much. Overall nice ship with some poor design spaces but would not travel on this ship again, but think some of NORWEGIAN'S efforts worth giving this cruise line another chance.

I think that very picky, critical spirits should not be able to leave reviews! Sorry by I am so excited for our 7 day Alaska cruise in August on the Bliss! Most of the negativity is the norm for these people that regularly post reviews anyway. I make the best of everything by nature, so it would suck to have that many issues and negative vibes!

It is common on a lot of cruise lines that the buffet has a gluten free section not so on the Bliss, the drinks help you along with many cruisers starting early

If everyone do a little due diligence you can learn from past cruiser remarks to make the cruise more enjoyable for everyone else by checking in the reviews you make your experience more better by for what they missed and be on top of your game when your time to go like one of the people who responded unless you did Your cruise through agent you can go to your page and when you did the thing about for that name And information at the bottom it clearly states what Kind of dietary instructions for the person you may can go back and correct it if you haven’t Already been booked within the week Second thing I also have read and heard about people book in the observation lounge and staying there all day sleeping due to this is a new ship they may have still got kinks or may have to make reservations on time people can stay up there you must realize just like you you have people will be there and the Service people are not instructed to just tell them they been there too long it’s their vacation as well as some just don’t have the courtesy to let other people enjoyed it.And third like I said if you haven’t went through a travel agent or even if you have called them and let them know that there are shows or events that you would like to attend And see if there is any availability and if they can be booked. I have been cruising for a little while so I try to put together a game plan but each individual ship everyone would not like somethings compared to others what is what you make it I hope everyone will enjoy their cruise

Regarding the gluten free dining, did you bother to notify NCL ahead of time about your dietary needs? It’s always recommend that you contact the cruise line either before you board speak to the head waiter as soon as you step on the ship.

Me too @torrestrio. We leave in 9 days. I have seen the same observation complaint from many different cruisers. I am praying for the best

This review makes me sad 😢. I will be on the Bliss in less than 3 weeks and I can’t wait . But now I feel a little bit of dread 😢
