There was a fairly long line but it moved quickly. Was not told that a Mariners were allowed to go into a shorter line which we would have been able to get into. Our friends were sent into that line even though they were not Mariner members

Pinnacle a Grill was excellent, Canaletto was a wonderful experience BUT the main dining room was mediocre at best. Our first night I had to send my dinner back as it was totally mushy, salty and cold. The Dining Room Maiter D’ came over. We spoke about the food. He took my name and
Cabin number and said he would Check on our table and food quality but never did. Other nights, the steaks were cold, over cooked food and most night everything tasted very salty. We were a party of 6 and all of us were disappointed in the food. Also, the choices began repeating very soon into the itinerary. My husband and I have been on many cruise lines and felt that the food on this cruise would cause us to think twice before choosing Holland America again, even though it was my mother’s favorite line.

Fitness center was good sized. Had a reflexology massage which was fine until the masseuse tried to up sell me on products and more treatments.

The Australian comedian/singer was great, his name was McMahon. The female singer was okay but not very good at her impersonations. The crew shows were good but very similar and repetitive. Cruise host, Chris was not friendly or very visible throughout the cruise

Cabin Stewart’s were very good, waiters were good. Not always an assistant with the waiters in the dining room which made the service slower and less complete. Never asked if we wanted a drink, other than alcohol.

Loved the double sink. Had some plumbing problems the first couple of days but after the second plumbing complaint, it was resolved. Room size and layout was good. Large balcony was very nice.

Eat in specialty restaurants! Dining room not that good
Sorry you didn't care for the food. I would give it another try. We've had the same dish on different ships. Once was good once it wasn't. We found the mdr food very good on Eurodam.
