Review summary

The ship was beautiful. Everything was clean and well kept. The beds were incredibly comfortable and most of the time you never knew you were on water because the rocking was so minimal. The destinations were perfect and the tours terrific. They provided a great variety of things to do on land.

The food was mostly average. If you want to pay extra to eat in the Pinnacle Grill, the filet minon was to die for.. like butter!!

The staff on this ship were of the best I have ever experienced. They were friendly, sincere, and always there to offer assistance.

When you get here, hop on a Ferry over to St. John. Although Megan's bay is gorgeous, you'll find a better quality of beach over at St. John's.... and don't forget to eat at the restaurant right at the dock when you get there... great drinks too!! The shopping is terrific as well; just be careful of time constraints if you get your jewelry sized.... they may tell you it will be on time just to make the sale...

Don't Miss: Get over to St. Johns and see Megan's bay at least once.... If you need booze at home, this is the place to buy it.

This Island was very poor from one end to the other.... Glad I went but I wouldn't get off the ship here next time. The beach was not like the other Islands and very disappointing.

Beautiful lush Island.... The drive to the rain forest was a bit hairy; all the twists and turns up the mountain... but well worth it once you got there!!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

I haven't gotten to beaches yet, but the shopping in San Juan is okay. They do have a 6.5% tax so remember that.... also, you can pick up anything you need as they do have Walgreens and CVS... remember, you are in America when you get here.

This is a beautiful Island. Not for shopping so don't waste your time going downtown. This is a beach place. The sand is white and the water blue... just beautiful.

Orient bay is clothing optional and just a beautiful beach. It is wonderful. Take a walk before purchasing a sandchair though. The chairs get cheaper as you walk further towards the little shops and bars.....

Don't Miss: Don't miss the flea markets. The people here are just awesome and very willing to deal with you. Great bargains!!

Pros: Great destinations; great waitstaff; great passengers

Cons: The food was mostly mediocre... the entertainment on board was not great as far as shows go.

Recommends Noordam? Yes!
