Review summary
First off ship was huge and clean, very nice design. Thought it was cool that they had real antiques and other similar items displayed with info. plaques all over ship. Bigger ship than my last and held less people for a much less crouded ship. Felt alone at some times. NICE! Always they were reminding us to was hands and keep clean for saftey and to keep bacteria from travel with us, including having antibacterial hand cleaner all over the ship escpecialy in front of all the food areas and when you boarded the ship from a port. Outstanding! Then I had my first taste of the food for lunch at the lido bar. Which for a Lido deck buffet was Amazing! Ecspecially for this ship getting not so descent reviews on food I was amazed way better than my last cruise with Carnival. All the food was outstanding the buffets, in room breakfast, and all the way up to the night time dinning and the Pinnicle Grill (which is an extra charge and a must try at least once on this cruise) Everyone I know got a free meal voucher on our trip anyway. Very large selection and variety on menus, and if theres nothing you like order something different. Crew was impecable smiling all the way. Never forgetting your name and willing to do anything just about. Mostly Indonesian! Entertainment, shows and the entertainment director and crew were awesome always having something funny to say at the drop of a hat. Music was great and show. Great singers. Great ports. St. Martin was the best for me then Tortola. Good deals on St. Martin and Orient Bay Beach is a must for beach lovers and non lovers BEAUTIFUL! Take the Explorer excursion cheaper and what a deal you see a lot of oth sides of the Island and shop in Marigot a must and also get a great boat ride with music from a local singer AWESOME guy and free drinks. Tortola was beautiful aswwell just not as much to do. Grand Turk is nice but a very new port and needs a little work, but a nice relaxing port much less populated and over crowded and americanised than most other islands in that area. St. Thomas I didn't like to americanised if I want to eat at Mcdonalds 'll drive down the st. from my house and save money. Also to many people very crowded not clean and all the shops were duplicated a lot and within the same block usually. Traffic was horible. San Juan was nice again to americanised but better than St. Thomas. Go see the rain forest. Thats for the ports though. The ship though was gradn and fun needed a little more for younger couples to do but it wasn't boring at anytime. Just needs to keep going after 11:00 P.M. Great shops on bord and drinks were pretty cheap. Get the soda card if you drink soda opo it'll save you money. Ship had a bit more older retired people than I'm used to but there were still a good amount of younger newlywed types. All together outstanding ship. with great food, Service and shows. DOn't miss out on it. I think if enough younger couples read this and start using the Holland line of ships which is known for the older crowd can become the ships for all ages.Ship experiences
