Review summary

- ship was stuck in port for 2 days while making repairs. This completely changed our itinerary. - Itinerary was not what I paid for. - too many passengers and not enough staff to handle the numerous complaints. - Air condition was out in our cabin for the first night. Wife and I had difficulty sleeping. - felt rushed and pressured to maintain the modified itinerary / excursions. - Holland needs a better maintenance program so that it doesn’t disrupt future cruises. *** Hindsight is I should have cancelled this cruise but it was for my wife’s birthday.

We were on that same cruise and had a great time in spite of the change in itinerary. You failed to mention you and your wife were each given a $250 on-board credit - total of $500 - for the inconvenience. It seems by your horrible ratings nothing was going to please you. Although we agree the entertainment was not very good but everything else was great.

Wow, sorry her birthday cruise went haywire. Air conditioning out would be a nightmare for us. Not like you can check out if you don’t like the service.

I would prefer to be at a port than in the middle of the ocean if there’s mechanical issues. Sorry it was a total disappointment.

It was not a maintenance issue issue. It was something broke in one of the drive pods. I know it’s disappointing when this happens to you but it’s a fact of life sometimes things go wrong. This review seems to me to be just sour grapes because everything did not work out as it should have.
