Review summary

This cruse was awful, boring and the ports were expensive and no good beach experience. The food was not even edible and the dining room food was the same as the cafeteria, same menu they only difference was they served you. The add one were ridiculous, $320 for internet that hardly worked, $36 a day fro crew appreciation, $329 for just the pop drink package, the pizza place was basically frozen pizza warmed up and the music at the pool was Euro tech/pop so sitting out was annoying. The spa prices were $420 for a message, a can of Pringles in the ship store were $8, excursion were upwards of $200 and the last island being taken off the itinerary was not compensated for. Plan on spending at least another $1000 a$2000 and being hungry on ship days because the food is not satisfying and we were just trying to find something that to fill us up. I would never do this cruise again and could hardly wait to get off.

The food was awful, we didn’t think it had any flavor, bland and could never find seating

1 out of 5
The activities were boring and costly

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We walked out of 2 of the performances, they were awkward and boring

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was wonderful

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It was clean but looked very outdated

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Comfort and size was fine, twin beds was not what we wanted, Tv didn’t work most of the time

Ship tip

Don’t do it, the food was awful, bland and very bulk cheap style buffet and they served water, fake lemonade and ice tea that was it

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Just boarded and seemed say enough

Grand Turk Island

1 out of 5
It was run down, the beach was nice but not swim-able due to jagged rocks and rough surface

San Juan, Puerto Rico

1 out of 5
We got there too late to do anything, no beach and excursions were over priced

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas Did not visit port

We paid $60 to go to a beach, once we got there there were two other cruise ships so the beach was crowded, the food was concession stand type food, $20 for a hamburger and a long line just to use the restroom, we left after about an hour

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

1 out of 5
We never even made it to this place, huge disappointment and we’re stuck on the ship for 2 1/2 days straight

Disembarkation

Nearly every cost you complained about, including the Pringles, is pretty standard for ALL cruise lines. Research is your friend.

Cruising isn’t for everyone. It’s always important to read and understand what it is and is not included in the basic cruise fare. Internet service is rarely good on any cruise ship unless they have upgraded to StarLink.
