Review summary

Very enjoyable week for our first ever cruise. The weather held, apart from a mucky day in Juneau. Our inside cabin on deck 1 was super comfortable and quiet. The talks were great, the shows ok. Wish I’d know to use the bow camera on the tv to see outside and have some light inside the room. MDR food was not as good as the buffet, so we chose to eat there most times. I’d have been happy to stay onboard.

Got stuffed up with those darned photographers taking embarkation pictures which were posted for sale the whole trip, at $20 each. I turned it down so I could get by sooner.

Always pressed to grab a table at the buffet, but usually managed. Would like to have trays to carry food, as hubby is in a wheelchair.

Onboard Activities

Did trivia, listened to exec talks, went to BB King club, and saw most of the shows on the mainstage.

Mostly good, other than the second comedy night when he put the pressure on the audience, and made us feel we failed him, and not the other way around.

Accessible, so roomy enough. No way it was dual access, though, as described in the brochure. 1011. Always clean. Stewards were miracle workers.
