The cruise was amazing.Mostly older crowd (60 plus). Don’t go with children, nothing for Them to do.
The food was the best I have ever had on a cruise and the service was outstanding.
I would definitely book another cruise on Holland America

We have been on NCL, RCL, Celebrity, Carnival and Princess. Holland America has the best food. No one gives you Filet Mignon and Lobster in dining room! Prime Rib twice!

Ship was refurbished in Dec 2017. Ship looked brand new even though 9 years old.

The cabin had a lot of storage and immaculate. The bathroom had a bath tub. Very rare on cruise ships
We went to Emerald Bay. Two chairs and an umbrella for $25. We had a great lunch.This used to be a Best Western it is now Emerald Bay Resort. We did Cable car to Paradise Pt
We were on Nieuw Amsterdam last March. Absolutely agree with everything you said. service and food can’t be beat. It is an older crowd which we are but it was great. So relaxing. Not a lot to do on the ship during the day but that’s what the ports are for. Love it
