Review summary

The tender situation really needs to be addressed. It is a real safety hazard. Holland is still my favorite line, the food, having Mass and the quality of service are outstanding.

Try Tamarind. It is remarkable.

The port we docked at was really a dud. In order to get to the better area (close to the other port) it involved having to take a taxi.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Normally I love Half Moon Cay, this time it was not great. Dangerously overcrowded tenders to shore and two huge Holland ships docked there at the same time. The confusion over "tickets" for the tenders was ridiculous. As overcrowded as the tenders were it was extremely dangerous. Not sure if I would go there again after that. Overcharging customers $40 for clam shells really is ridiculous. All this made a lovely day a real disappointment.
