Review summary

Was great at first. Keys was great, grand turk was amazing, they cancelled Amber Cove which is the trip my grandfather who lost his wife really wanted to go on, AND they didn't refund anyone for the loses of the experience, they did for the excursions but doesn't make up for experience and the extra day at sea which to boring. Cancelled snorkeling in the Bahamas and it wasn't even the main part of the Bahamas. Will definitely take another cruise line next time a little disappointed in my first experience.

Amazing staff! I stayed in room 7124 and our guy Fredrick was the sweetest man! Great experience and always had a clean room:)

They will refund the port charges but that’s usually only a few dollars, since that’s all charged as part of the taxes and port fees. The taxes you will never get back

Not sure what your expectations were for compensation associated with “loss of the experience”?? I agree with @capttrips. I cruise HAL a lot and we’ve never missed a port, so the only reason they would have missed Amber Cove is for safety reasons. And this is clearly explained in your cruise contract. 🍸

No cruise line will refund you for missing a port. It's usually due to weather/currents, for everyone's safety.
