Review summary

Was my 5th cruise and first with Holland America - will use a different line next time. The two onboard fires were very disconcerting and make us wonder about fleet maintenance.... and the entertainment was limited and often connected to sales pitches...... nickled and dimed throughout the cruise.

Okay, had decent gluten free options - Pinacle Grill (for extra fee) had fantastic food... not overly wowed on daily basis.

Minimal interest in offered activities - were very limited and mostly involved sales pitches at the end.

On board entertainment was lacking in talent.... was like a high school talent show.

Go on another ship! IT caught fire TWICE on the same cruise - not good!

We almost missed our flight - we asked last minute and a very kind person got us on an earlier bus - the one assigned would have made us late.

Wow, the shows were entertaining and the dancers and singers were very talented!!!! You need to do your homework and find out most of these people have an actual college degree in dance and voice. I feel you were overly critical and probably wouldn’t have liked anything, or maybe you should have gotten up there and performed yourself.

Was on the same ship back in Oct 2016. There was a fire then also. Makes one wonder what's going on.
