Review summary

Considering it was my first cruise it's hard to rate or compare it to anything. The wait staff was outstanding for the most part. I was a bit surprised at times to see they had run out of common food like spinach. Everything was very clean top to bottom on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Some dishes were more impressive than others in the main dining room. If you make a reservation to one of the dining rooms for the extra cost, don't go hungry. It's a 3 hour meal and it seemed about a 45 minute wait between courses. Everyone I met commented on the wait time, not that anyone was in a hurry, but 3 hours is a long time to sit for a meal.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I don't remember his name, but our comedian was a riot!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the wait staff and room service people were extremely polite and always had a smile. Don't expect the staff who sail the ship to give you the time of day. They keep to themselves even in public spaces.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The staff is always cleaning and painting the ship. The ship usually got painted at our ports which would leave the entire ship smelling like paint fumes until we got a ways out of port.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was very nice. The sheets had some stains on them. I realize we're out at sea and there is salt in the water, but all of the glass on the ship is always dirty or full of spots which impedes the view somewhat.

Ship tip

It's an older guest crowd on the ship, but that's what we we're hoping for for. Do you homework. Being this was our first time, we watched many youtube videos about cruising and this particular cruise line.

Grand Turk Island

I know life is what you make of it, but if you don't do an excursion here, there is not a lot to do. The best part of the island was watching everyone at Margaritaville have fun and the post card picture I took. Busiest spot on the island.
