Review summary

We spent extra days in Barcelona and Rome which worked out great.  The ship was a nice size with nothing ever too crowded or overbooked.  I have had better food and service in the main dining room on other ships.  This one was medium with relatively slow and inattentive service, in spite of us being seated at an undesirable table right by the serving station.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room food/service was medium, but the buffet was very good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn't want to be busy all the time. This ship had all we needed and nothing was ever too crowded or over-booked, so we could do what we wanted, when we wanted to do it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the BB King Blues group, piano bar and the juggler/comic.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Cabin service and spa were very good. Main dining room service was slow and inattentive and less personal than I've experienced in the past.

Nice to know that overall you had an enjoyable cruise.  Too bad that service was so slow.  The cruiselines call it leisurely dining. The rest of us call it slow service.  I don't mind a leisurely dinner but when it takes two hours I get antsy.
