Overall an Enjoyable Trip

Sail Date: October 19, 2015

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

We spent extra days in Barcelona and Rome which worked out great.  The ship was a nice size with nothing ever too crowded or overbooked.  I have had better food and service in the main dining room on other ships.  This one was medium with relatively slow and inattentive service, in spite of us being seated at an undesirable table right by the serving station.

Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Some of the small Spanish ports weren't that exciting, but we loved starting in Barcelona and ending in Rome and spending time in each. Gibraltar was interesting and a nice change compared to the other ports. the nightly presentations about the next port of call were useful.
Onboard Activities
We didn't want to be busy all the time. This ship had all we needed and nothing was ever too crowded or over-booked, so we could do what we wanted, when we wanted to do it.
Loved the BB King Blues group, piano bar and the juggler/comic.
Service and Staff
Cabin service and spa were very good. Main dining room service was slow and inattentive and less personal than I've experienced in the past.
Food and Dining
Main dining room food/service was medium, but the buffet was very good.
