Not our favorite by VickiG3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This ship is only 10 years old and it seems very tired. Things are a bit run down. It's still a beautiful ship, and the condition of the ship didn't take away from the experience. It was our kids first trip and we had really talked the cruising experience up but it really fell short in the food category. Breakfast buffet had a lot of selection, but not a fan of the dinner menu.

Good experience by MariaJ3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall was good, although was my first time, i liked the food, not the cafeteria, the crew were nice and helpful, the ship was good, but because the ship was full the pool area wasn't big enough for all of us, and once we got to Cayman Island we have to wait more than 2 hours to get into the shore because they have to use boat to go to the city and was very inefficient

navigator cruise by MikeG4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

overall the ship was fine, but the evening meals in the dining room were only fair. The WindJammer room was very good. Leaving the ship for the port at Grand Cayman was poor. No coordination in telling passengers to go to deck 2 and then having to go up to deck 4 first. My friends and I booked the cruise at the exact same time , yet they were assigned to a different table for dining. It took us some time to get this straightened out.

A Tired Lady Needing Repairs by Hix

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This is a well designed ship with wonderful layout and many things to enjoy, however, the physical condition of the ship is atrocious. This was our third cruise. The first two were our top cruises ever. This last cruise was our worst ever due to the rundown condition of the vessel. We will NOT be back until I am assured that this situation is corrected.

Great Cruise by RichardD1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was my first cruise, and have heard that every cruise is like this, but I can't believe how much money they try to get out of you. Seems like every time I turn my back they are trying to sell something. Other than that, it was a great cruise, loved the stops.

This was a great "first time" crusie experience! The ship was extremely clean, the crew was great, and the Caribbean was awesome (white sand, blue water, total relaxation).

disappointing by CarolynC2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It is a beautiful ship, the carpets in the rooms are a little "tired" but nice. We were very disappointed in the dining. On the itinerary it says two formal nights and one semi formal. We took tux and formal, on those nights there were people in the dining room with shorts and polos made you feel a little over dressed to say the least. The food was truely disappointing alot like "Golden Coral". We were celebrating our daughters birthday and told them twice, they never did anything, but other tables were having candles and singing around us. We sat at a table of 8 so we could get to know others, the first night the other 5 people were german and spoke no english..and then they never came back, so we sat at this big table by ourselves. We had a suite with a balcony, but every time we tried to enjoy the balcony the neighbors were out smoking so it ruined it for us. they should keep the smokers together on the other side of the ship!

Great Time by DavidK6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My wife and I went to Chops Grill and Portofino's resturants and enjoyed them both as well as the ambiance of Johnny Rocket's. The food in the main dining room was also great!! The crew and staff aboard ship were very friendly and attentive to our needs. This was the second time we were on the Navigator of the Seas and plan to go back just as soon as possible. Royal Carribean has the best cruise ships and staff afloat.
