Room Type: Balcony

It is a beautiful ship, the carpets in the rooms are a little "tired" but nice. We were very disappointed in the dining. On the itinerary it says two formal nights and one semi formal. We took tux and formal, on those nights there were people in the dining room with shorts and polos made you feel a little over dressed to say the least. The food was truely disappointing alot like "Golden Coral". We were celebrating our daughters birthday and told them twice, they never did anything, but other tables were having candles and singing around us. We sat at a table of 8 so we could get to know others, the first night the other 5 people were german and spoke no english..and then they never came back, so we sat at this big table by ourselves. We had a suite with a balcony, but every time we tried to enjoy the balcony the neighbors were out smoking so it ruined it for us. they should keep the smokers together on the other side of the ship!

Pros: The ship is very nice, a little woren, but nice.

Cons: The food was very disappointing as was the dining room staff

Recommends Navigator of the Seas? No.

Food and Dining
I have to say this was the weakest part of the trip, if you didn't eat in the dining room and ate at the cafeteria,,,the food was the same very day. And prepared in mass with not much distinction.
Ship Quality
The ship is very nice. The rooms are nice, could use a little new updating the carpet is a little faded and woren but they were fine.
Cabin / Stateroom
As I said, the room was nice, but the carpets are faded and a little woren. Again keep the smokers together on the other side of the ship. Everytime we tried to enjoy our balcony the neighbors were out smoking. We have one in our party who is very allergic to smoke so it really ruined the reason for the upgrade to a balcony.
Service and Staff
The staff was very nice, the only one we were disappointed in was our waiter, he forgot things and never did anything more than he was required.
there was alot of activity certainly you could find anything to do at any time of day.
