Review summary

For me and my husband, this is the perfect length of cruise. We enjoyed the ship, and all that it offered and we certainly enjoyed the ports we visited. We would take this same cruise again on Navigator of the Seas. There was plenty to do if you wanted to, and lots of opportunity to just chill and enjoy. I thinks it's the best ship we've been on so far.

Very smooth.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room was amazing. We enjoyed it every night. We did the buffet for breakfast and occasional lunches, and it was awesome, as well. We loved the Cafe Promenade... the pizza was top rate and they were open 24/7.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The activity options were great! We loved the 18+ only area pool for a more relaxing pool and hot tub experience.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stage shows were super. The comedian and hypnotist were exceptional. We found ourselves drawn to the Schooner Lounge repeatedly to listen to the piano player, Sam Martin. He was amazing!

Children's Programs

We did not take any children on this cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Main Dining Room waiters and assistant waiters went out of their way to make our dining experience superior! Vicky and Savio (Deck 3, early main dining) were amazing! Our room steward, Veronica, went out of her way to find me a 'less puffy' pillow to make my sleeping a better experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was constantly being cleaned (not in an annoying way) and always in tip top shape. We loved the Promenade Area as it made the ship feel so open and inviting.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were pleasantly surprised with the size of our cabin. We loved that there was a couch, as well as a bed. It felt VERY roomy. We were doubly impressed with the location of the room. Kudos to our Travel Agent, Chris, for selection the room. The hallway was twice as large as in other areas of the ship. It was a quiet area with easy access to the pool and on the same deck as the buffet and pool. We couldn't have asked for a better interior cabin.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
We used the parking lot at the port and were pleased with the easy access and the fact that someone was there 24/7

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did not do an excursion. We tendered over to Cabo and did some 'mini' shopping at the market near the port. It was o.k.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
Mazatlan was pretty and we did take a city highlights excursion. Our tour guide, Jantzel, was awesome. The areas we drove to were lovely and Jantzel shared great information about the city.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Puerto Vallarta was our favorite stop. The city was beautiful and so clean. We took another city highlight tour and our tour guide, Jose, was amazing! He had been born and raised in PV and knew everything and everyone. He was pleasant to talk to and was obviously grateful to us as tourists for coming to his city. He and PV were the highlight of our vacation.
