Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
this being our 5th cruise we have experienced menus'. the service was outstanding and i believe the food was prepared correctly, and had a decent variety to choose from. the issue i have is that the more popular choices (made to order omelet station) was a 10-15 minute wait needless to say your other choices were cold and not very appetizing, add more stations. The main dinning room service was outstanding, had many choices unfortunately some of the items were tasteless.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
we enjoyed the ice skating shows, the and the stage performances, the bands on the deck were very good and i caught myself to tapping along. The comedians for the farewell show was not very good, i believe if that show had an extra cost i would definitely be asking for a refund

Entertainment

Enjoyed most of the stage performances, the band on the deck was very enjoyable

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
From room service to dinning the crew was outstanding, it is amazing that they remember our names after meeting thousands of people each week, really made us feel important.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
this was our 5th cruise, we have never sailed with any other cruise line, from chatting with other guest that have cruised with other companies they mention how hard the Royal crew works keeping the ship at it's best. As for the design of the ship i have one suggestion, the cabin area hallways are sometime confusing with aft, starboard, port and other the deck numbers are easy enough i suggest to use visual placards on the entrance to the cabin walkways. it could be the same visual placard for all decks. Example could easily recognize my cabin is on the hallway with the "DUCK" placard and if i happened to turndown the wrong hallway i would know right away due to the right placard on the entrance of the hallway.

Disembarkation

very fast and easy, in the past all the guest were rushing to get off the ship and the lines were all around the ship had to stand in line for over 40 plus minutes. now so simple and easy

I know for a fact that on Navigator there are direction placards on the wall right when you enter each hallway from the stairways or elevators with the room numbers and arrows pointing in each direction to guide you where to walk. There’s even a diagram of the ship to show you which way (forward or aft) so you just weren’t paying attention.
