Review summary

Such an amazing week. The staff was fabulous, the ship is beautiful. The Mexican Riviera is absolutely breathtaking. We got to see Whales, Stingrays, Sea Lions, and Huge Pelicans. Can't wait to go again.

Embarkation

This was the first time cruising out of the west coast, so we didn't know what to expect. With that said the experience at the Port of Los Angeles was wonderful. Our shuttle bus from LAX got us to the port about and hour and a half prior to our boarding time so we checked our bags with the porters and walked over to the battleship Iowa for a tour. Once it was time to board the check in process was smooth and quick maybe 10 minutes from getting in line until we were on board.

Food and Dining

The quality and selection of the food in the main dining room and the windjammer buffet were not what we have come to expect from Royal Caribbean. They are trying to update there menus and with supply line issues may be a contributing factor. So hoping this is a temporary issue. We also ate at Chops grill and Jamie's Italian. Both were amazing and well worth the extra money.
