Review summary

Well worth the $$, but due to Easter Week there were a lot of children running about. We just stayed away from their areas and had fun. Concerned that there has been a return to self service in WJ. Number of passengers noted not washing or sanitizing their hands.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast - lots done pre cruise on app

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All dinners in MDR. Liked access to Vegan menu for some unusual choices. Buffet good, but crowded with children and return of self serve caused us to skip some areas due to passengers unsanitary habits.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center was good.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Limited number of shows, but enjoyed Las Vegas Tenors & Show Girls, Past Present & Future

Children's Programs

No child with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
MDR Ryan & Noelia were wonderful, attentive & efficient. Liked that they took notes whenever there were suggestions for improvement. Our room Steward, Ilode, kept our cabin clean & fresh and often met us in the corridor with a smile band opened our door before we had our key out. 😄

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean & shiny. Crew were observed constantly sanitizing. Very reassuring.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Much larger than anticipated with a long, comfortable sofa (bed), lots of storage, nice colors and adequate balcony with table & 2 adjustable chairs.

Ship tip

Get everything thing done ahead of time on app that you can. Makes embarkation smooth and quick, including emergency drill.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Embarkation port. Good signage and convenient parking.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Only walked around near ship, visited pharmacy and shops with a snack at Senior Frogg. Areas with garbage not picked up.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Yes, did excursion. Loved the cliff divers, but were taken to store and told facilities there for use. Dirty & had to use bucket to flush!!! Reported to Shore Excursions & got partial refund.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Great escorted walk about town with lots of history shared. Ride to Agave Farm a little long, but the tequila tasting was informative and tasty. 😂😂

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very fast! By time we got to waiting area they told us we could get off!

Sounds like their main complaint was the same as mine on the Panorama. Wish Easter Break was only a couple of weeks again instead of more than a month.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise even with a few pitfalls, but that’s life, right?
