This was my first cruise, and I was unsure as to what to expect. Royal Caribbean made our large group of 17 people feel welcome!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I will never cruise with anyone but Royal Caribbean. We were able to board the ship quickly, with no issues.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was good, but the staff was INCREDIBLE! We had an amazing wait staff, who made us feel welcome every night. The drinks were excellent, and the bar staff made us feel welcome no matter how many times we had been to the bar that day :)
Main Dining Room
5 out of 5
We were extremely lucky to have Raj and Andrada as our waitstaff. They made sure we had a great dining experience every night.
Schooner Bar
5 out of 5
Our favorite thing to do, was to meet each night before dinner at the Schooner. The bar staff was incredible. One bartender knew all of our drinks by night 2, and was very prompt with the service!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We spent most of our "at sea" days at the pool. We met every night for music trivia at the Schooner lounge (and we were even crowned the 80's trivia champs!)...my personal favorite was the "Quest" game show. I laughed the entire time! The comedians were entertaining, too! It's impossible to be bored on this ship.
Entertainment

Loved the comedians! The club DJ kept us dancing all night.

The room was spacious, and well-maintained (THANK YOU, DONATO!)
Ship tip
Take care of the staff. Although gratuities are prepaid, they go above and beyond to give you everything you need.
Because we missed Labadee, we had the unique opportunity to stay overnight here. It was great to be able to experience their nightlife! We walked around, and checked out a few local bars. We rented cars the next day to drive to the other side of the Island (we were told that's where the best beaches were). We traveled to Jan Thiel beach. It was beautiful. We did some snorkeling and enjoyed a nice meal on the water. They had nice cabanas, which were decently priced.
This was my absolute favorite. The Island was absolutely beautiful. We rented scooters, so we were able to see all of Bonaire. We traveled through the local areas, to the incredible pink salt mines, saw the wild flamingos and made a pit stop at a beautiful beach. The water was so clear, you could see to the bottom. We found a little private beach and did some snorkeling there as well. I would say it was much better that the snorkeling in Curacao, simply because the coral was live. Bonaire is unique because you have an great mix of tropical island and cacti in the desert. I would say the scooter rental was the best way to travel here.
Aruba was beautiful, but very Americanized. We went to Palm Beach for the day. We were a little confused, because there are resorts on the beach, however it is public. Unlike the other Islands, we were not able to snorkel here as the water was less clear. There were no beach bars there either, so we had to walk to a convenient store to get our drinks. (You can buy drinks from the resorts, but they're expensive). We did find a great spot for food though. I would recommend Scott's Brats for something quick and simple. The beach was crowded, so I would recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for something a little more private.
