Review summary

Had a nice time on this cruise. There were only a few children on board. I did not have to fight to sit in the hot tub and we easily found chairs around the pool deck each day. The drinks were good but the slot machines were tight. Took the tour of the kitchen and the filet that they served during the tour was amazing.

Embarkation

The boarding was chaotic and slow. The ship did not get cleared when they arrived and it slowed the process down.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The drinks were top shelf and the food was really good. More American in style which I prefer. Service was a bit slow or I would have given a 5.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
This is a great pool. plenty of chairs and you can sit in the water around it.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The 60s style show was fantastic! We missed the ventriloquist but I heard it was amazing. The band that played by the pool was the best band I have had on a cruise ship by the pool area.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is older and the doors going to the deck were hard to get closed and locked. The entire ship was hot. A/C was not what I was used to.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Normal ship cabin. balcony was large enough to sit out on.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Willemstad, Curacao

Loved the restaurants looking over the water and the shopping areas. We visited the Curacau factory for about an hour which was long enough and spent 2 hours on a great beach with shopping near by and that was too short.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

This island surprised me. The beach we went to had shallow water that was crystal blue that was walkable for miles and the area is a windsurfing location that looked so fun. Great little beach bar that was kept perfectly clean and the food was really good.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
Beautiful! We took a cab to Eagle beach and it was long enough to stroll along and we ate lunch at a local hotel on the water and the food was great! I would come back to this location.

Disembarkation

So smooth!
