Review summary
Upon embarking, we were told staterooms wouldn't be ready until 1:30 p.m. but we could go to the buffet at 11:00 to have lunch. It didn't open until noon. Dinner menu meat selections were prepared exactly as ordered. Vegetables cooked perfectly, not overcooked. Fish and lobster should be eliminated from menu as it was not fresh and tasted fishy. Lobster watery after being defrosted and cooked. On last night of cruise I got food poisoning from spoiled escargots. Elevators didn't always work on Deck 9 and had to go up or down stairs. Drinks were very expensive compared to other cruises. There were small two pools next to each other on Deck 11 with kids cannon balling in both. The Solarium was better but not enough seating. The balcony off our cabin was dirty and had a lot of rust. The plexiglass was never cleaned so difficult to see anything. The buffet was "o.k." There was no outside hamburger/hot dog cafe by the pools where the food would be grilled.
