Review summary

Upon embarking, we were told staterooms wouldn't be ready until 1:30 p.m. but we could go to the buffet at 11:00 to have lunch.  It didn't open until noon. Dinner menu meat selections were prepared exactly as ordered.  Vegetables cooked perfectly, not overcooked.  Fish and lobster should be eliminated from menu as it was not fresh and tasted fishy.  Lobster watery after being defrosted and cooked.  On last night of cruise I got food poisoning from spoiled escargots.  Elevators didn't always work on Deck 9 and had to go up or down stairs.  Drinks were very expensive compared to other cruises.  There were small two pools next to each other on Deck 11 with kids cannon balling in both.  The Solarium was better but not enough seating.  The balcony off our cabin was dirty and had a lot of rust.  The plexiglass was never cleaned so difficult to see anything. The buffet was "o.k."  There was no outside hamburger/hot dog cafe by the pools where the food would be grilled.

Not too thrilled with the two shows we saw but the Unexpected Boys was better than the Broadway/Jazz musical.

Cabin / Stateroom

Inside was maintained every day but the balcony was not swept each day and there was dirt in the trough in front of the plexiglass and on the floor. Plexiglass never got cleaned so it was difficult to see. Rusted metal showing in several placed.

Took a five-hour van tour all around the island and were shown the historical and tourist sites and went to the Aloe Vera factory which was interesting. Went swimming at Baby Beach.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

Took a sail/snorkel excursion which was fun. Saw a lot of tropical fish. Bonaire was the prettiest island and looked the cleanest.
