Review summary

This is the third cruise that I have taken, but the first for my husband.  Even though this was his first cruise, he did notice the poor selection of food and the quality of the food.

My thought is that all ships should have a first time cruiser or a long lost cruiser seminar.  This will inform those of us that enjoy doing all that can be done, to know what is available on the ship and the location.  I'm sure that I missed events happening on the ship.

We did enjoy some of the performances that were available to see.  I would have like more.  For the money that we paid for the cruise, there should have been more variety all around.

Ship tip

Have a cruising class for those of us that need it. At that time, you can inform us about the events and locations, how the beverage card works and what locations it works at.

the cruise planner/itinerary they put in your room every day gives you all the details.

They do have a first time cruiser meeting on the ship.

Quality and events can change from cruise to cruise. No way to know what you are going to get until you are on the ship.

Our cruise needed last Sunday. I agree. Something was off with the food. I probably won't go back on the NOS. Entertainment was not the same quality as on other RCI ships.

If you want to know what to expect t before you book your cruise, I strongly recommend you work with a travel agent, knowledgeable in the cruise industry. Unlike what you sometimes read here, you will get objective information regarding the cruise line, the ship, and its destinations. And, it doesn't cost you anything. So many first-time cruising mistakes that I see here could easily be avoided by consulting someone who knows the ins and outs of the industry.

You should have read the cruise planner that you get every night on your bed. Then you have known what was happing and where.
