Review summary

The ship and the room were clean and spacious. The stateroom attendants( Cherrymae and Conrad, we had 2 rooms) were wonderful.  The dining staff, Rodrigo and Neil were amazing.  They were our standout who made the cruise better for us.  The food in the windjammer, where you have breakfast and lunch was abundant and adequate. Food in the mail dining room was good.  Drinks were 11.00 each and very good.  The excursions were expensive.  We were so disappointed that  we were unable to dock in the Grand Caymans.  Jamaica was ok.  We did a Dunes/Beach excursion that was $129.00 each.  Our 7 hours excursion was far, The Dunes was one hour away and the beach was one and a half hours back.  The Dunes was fun, however a lot of the guides skipped sections because it was so crowed.  I noticed groups starting half way through and did not even know. My family missed one section and was also unaware.  At the beach we had 2 hours with lunch(I thought it would be longer) The food was just ok and we were only there 90 min. The Beach was nice and clean however we were not there long enough.  Labadee was nice, we had a cabana on the water (500.00) for the day and it was wonderful. Make sure you have a Labadoozie, Loved it!   The seaweed on the bottom was horrible but we had brought our water shoes so that made it better.  Nice cabana, water, floats, attendant, it was extremely relaxing and we were there from 10-4:30. So, we felt it was worth the money. Food was provided by the ship and was fine.  Internet was  also expensive $20.00 a day and the second device $10.00  You have to pay once you start and until the end of the cruise.  You cant just get it for a day.

You are constantly asked to make a reservation in one of the upgraded restaurant at an extra charge.  We did go to one.  We took a sushi class for $30/per person. It was fun.  You made 4 rolls each and that was your lunch.  It was worth it.  A 25% discount on your next meal made it nice to go back. Janice was our server and so nice, food is very good at Izumi.  I would probably not do a Navigator of the Sea cruise again.

We had a balcony room and our children had an interior room. Both rooms were clean and spacious for a cruise room. However the interior faced the promenade deck which was loud. The provide music and raffles all the time. They are done by 11PM but cant take a nap during the day. I won a raffle and was able to pick out any 10.00 watch which broke already

On the same cruise as you Carrie. We cruised the Navigator years ago and look forward to seeing how she has changed. Had a great time on her last time.

Do you recall if they had a glow party?

It will be perfect! We have 4 kids (now 28,22,20&18) we cruised to get a week together.... I wanted a week with my kids... All in one place.... Navigator is very similar to freedom... You'll feel right at home 😊 have fun!!! I think I have some pics on here... Still trying to figure this app out... Book the mystery dinner, it was a blast! Should be first night leaving port 😊

Thank you Carrie. I picked this cruise out for 8 people. So feel responsible and hope made a good choice.

You will have a blast, we've sailed both the freedom and Navigator... Navigator is just a bit smaller but still amazing and very similar 😊 you'll have a blast!

Why would you not do Navigator again? We have her booked with family soon. Some have never cruised. Want them to have a great time. We were on Freedom couple years ago and figured Navigator would be similar.

We didn't get to tender in Cayman either ... So we booked same cruise the next year... Now I want to fly there and live there 😂 it is an amazing place! Make sure to go back if you haven't been.... We had rough seas, better than the week before us though, same boat ... Ran into the hurricane 😬 so I was happy with just rough seas leaving gulf... And a little rocking... Next one was smooth as glass
