Good Trip overall

Sail Date: November 14, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

Very poor start, (see below) but the great service from the crew made up for it.  Our cabin steward took very good care of us, even making sure we had ice when we needed it. The dining staff was welcoming and handled all our needs.  We had the early dinner and we did feel a little rushed. Bartender did an excellent job and had our chosen drinks on the table as we arrived.  Enjoyable trip,

Cabin / Stateroom
First time without a balcony. Fun to watch activities on the promenade from your room.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Disaster. Our suitcases were left sitting in the rain and clothing was wet. They did not start to board until 1:00 and we had called ahead of time and were told 12;00. There is no area outside designated priority check-in and when you get into the building it is difficult to find priority lines.
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
We did not participate in many on board activities however, we are avid Mah Jongg players and were very disappointed during days at sea (we had 4 of them) to find that the ship DID NOT have a single complete set of tiles. We needed to adapt to what was on board and one game that someone had brought. Enjoyed the Newly Wed Game but they are still asking the same old questions.
Children's Programs Does not apply

Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island) Been here before. Stayed on boat
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Old San Juan is really just another place to shop. Would do an excursion or stay on ship
Basseterre, St. Kitts
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Used Bernardes for our tour. Would use the again. Note that where you pick them up is through the town so it is a 10-15 minute walk.

Tip

Quiet place to lounge outside on 14
