Review summary

We took this cruise for the itinerary and it did not disappoint. The weather was unbelievablely good. We enjoy Oceania for the destinations, food, service and ambiance. But if entertainment and large cabins are you thing it’s not for you.

There were three excellent lecturers and the trivia sessions were fun.

There were a couple of good acts, the ship’s singers and dancers were enthusiastic. There was an excellent string quartet and a good band but you don’t travel with Oceania for the entertainment.

There are no facilities for children and the captain’s daughter was the only one aboard.

We went on this cruise mainly for the Russian ports, somewhere out of the ordinary. Not “spectacular” but very interesting and and an insight into a different culture.
