Review summary

We chose this cruise because we wanted to see Iceland and Greenland. The itinerary included Prince Christian Sound and 2 ports in Greenland plus 2 days in Reykjavik and 1 day in Akureyri, Iceland. However, the captain determined we could not go into the sound and re-routed the ship to Nuuk. So, instead of 7 days at sea, we had 10 days at sea and only 1 day in Reykjavik. We understand the captain's decision but feel Oceania should not have started the voyage promising this itinerary since it is rarely possible to enter the sound at this time of year. We were very disappointed with the number of days at sea and it made for a longer and more tedious journey. Giving passengers free drinks did not make up for the poor planning on the part of Oceania. We have cruised with Oceania 3 times previously and enjoyed all 3 trips!
