Review summary

We chose this cruise for the ports, we were sad to miss a couple of them due to the weather.

The food was not very good in the buffets for breakfast.  There was very little selection and the same food items were served throughout the entire cruise.  Dinner was hit or miss, I wish there would have been selections for more picky eaters.  No one wants to eat a plain chicken breast every time they don't want the evening's offering.

The evening entertainment was sparse and the production value was low.  The pools and hot tubs closed early and we didn't have much chance to use them due to excursions and dinner times.

We really struggled with our expectations during the cruise wondering if we were being nit picky, we have come to the conclusion after some discussion that there were no large problems but the small issues took away from our overall experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Breakfast was a real problem for us. The same food was served for breakfast every day. We had a really hard time finding anything suitable.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Activities were scarce, when we did find anything it wasn't in English. Our teens never found anyone to interact with at the Teen club. The production value of the nightly show was not very good in our opinion.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was set up well with plenty of storage for 4 people. It felt roomy even when all the beds were open for the night. The bathroom was well thought out with plenty of space also. I feel like the room was a little worn in, but nothing too bad. The balcony was roomy and the furniture was comfortable to use.

Ship tip

There are people embarking at every port. Be ready for the muster drill to be repeated every port day in at least 5 languages. There don't seem to be enough elevators. It makes getting to dinner and excursions difficult if you can't take the stairs.
