Review summary
This was my third cruise, first with MSC Cruises and was not sure what to expect. Embarkation left alot to be desired. Due to my transportation to Messina, I knew I would be waiting before I could board the ship, but was not impressed at all when the guard told everyone lined on the sidewalk with all their baggage, that we would have to wait over 2.5 hours before we could even get into the terminal out of the sun! The ship was already disembarking passengers for the excursions, but everyone had to either sit on their baggage or the fence in the hot sun, or if lucky enough to get a seat at a cafe across the road. The ship is VERY beautiful and well laid out for the most part. Sometimes the passageways can get a bit confusing. The Yacht Club is completely amazing and well worth the price, when you include the perks and the peace and quiet and great service that you get. Very happy with the cruise and would very seriously consider another cruise with MSC!Embarkation

Ship tip
To avoid the masses, if you can afford it, take the YACHT CLUB experience. Like a ship within a ship, great service, quiet and good value with all the other perks included.
