Totally loved everything! This is why we decided to stay on this 4 day extension of the original 7 day.
The ship is most beautiful. Loved music in evening, trivia/game shows, and just sitting enjoying ocean go by. Loved the Bridge of Sighs, several glass sidewalks overhang ocean. It's different than Meraviglia and both are gorgeous. Just bask in the beauty and uniqueness of the one you are on.
Embarkation

Fabulous! We had to walk off ship and show immigration our passports since we left the country. It was very quick. There were about 100 of us who booked the 4 day extension to the 7 day cruise. We were treated like gold. We all went to special area with drinks n snacks to be led as a group, off n right back on the ship. Then we were taken to one of the fine dining rooms set up just for us and served Filet Mignon Luncheon.! The best meal on the cruise complimentary!

Food and Dining

Loved Main dining room. We ate in IPANEMA first 7 days, it was noisy, modern,spacious, full of energy and upbeat vibes. SEASHORE dining room on this 4 days I liked slightly better as quieter, more elegant, feeling of old ship grandeur. Food n service excellent on both. Buffets twice were delicious, clean, and hard to choose where to eat but decided on service. Food both same quality.
Onboard Activities

We are older and loved Trivia, Name that tune, Crosswords type games. I did the art but was disappointed. It ws not fun as instructor didn't say a word and passed out colored paper to cut to size and glue on a choice of 4 photocopied children's coloring book pix. You were given handful of coloring pens but the tables were all missing primary colors like red. I brought similar nice pens to do some art on my own and shared w my table. There was no words spoken and it was boring to boot. I stayed as long as poss and didn't go back the next day. I love art. It was disappointing. But this was a small negative in an awesome cruise. I mentioned it so they might improve it.
Entertainment

Stage shows were good... they were too crowded and couldn't get reservations if you didn't know how to reserve on first day. You may not get in if u decide last min.
Loved some of the music. Can sit on several levels and clearly watch the atrium musicians and hear good quality music. We didn't try the bar music. The pools had awesome music, back deck we did sit by once.
Service and Staff

Service excellent in Seasore dining rm. Attentive waiters, many waiting on you. Breakfast had excessive amount of waiters so you can eat quickly and leave for excursion, or sit at your leisure. Rooms cleaned twice a day, all new towels after we showered and went to dinner. Servers strolled everywhere there were chairs offering drinks all day and night. They brought Peligrino happily since we don't drink alcohol. Could not be better!
Ship Quality

Gorgeous architecture! Beautiful ship! Liked the center atrium a vertical centerpiece of beauty. Meraviglia is a horizontal centerpiece, you stroll down a centerpiece street. They should it published or labeled somehow... that only floors 6, 7, 8 go thru from front to aft. Everyone walks along to fine the restaurant or buffet and the ship dead ends. You want to continue forward but you know you are only mid ship. You just want to find buffet. No signs. You figure it out by another lost person telling you or accidentally realizing it.
But everything was very clean and people constantly cleaning. Room very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

We enjoyed an interior cabin these 4 days as we had paid for balcony the first 7 days. It was large and very comfortable. I like it better since it was in center of ship and the balcony room was extreme front of ship. We didn't walk far for anything w the central room. I would pick it again!Always clean n well serviced.
Ship tip
Go with the flow! Don't let the unexpected bother you too much!(there will b things you aren't used to). Focus on All the Positive! (It's Mostly Incredibly Amazing!) Then you will love your vacation!
Thoroughly enjoyed this private Island! Love staying overnight w the light show, snorkeling and swimming in the ocean right near ship. It is perfect waves, aqua blue water, perfect temperature, I can't wait to go back. The shops are ok but not much selection. I bought artwork and cute lightweight cloth backpack/bags there on my cruise in March 2923, but they didn't have any in Sept which I planned on getting for Christmas. We kind of did this extension for more of this island! Friendly residents wave goodbye like we are family! You feel safe as no one on the island except ship passengers. No one would steal your stuff while you swam.
Not a fan of this port, so planned on staying onboard to enjoy the ship! Beautiful views and pictures of the ocean at this Port! That made ut memorable!!
Fastest disembarkation ever! I recommend Not Pulling your own luggage. We passed up the line of Luggage Pullers, zoomed off, quick card scan, walk fast as we could go down the ramps, one minute scan of passport and few questions, off to easily find bags in sections, we had porter wheel them to bus (which he could find quicker than we could), rode bus to off site parking and drove off! We were called to leave our assigned waiting lounge at 8:15. We were driving our car onto freeway at 8:45. We could not believe the fast embarkation and disembarkation.
