Although I had a nice time I dont think I'll be traveling with MSC anytime soon. Maybe I'll give them another chance when they become more established in the USA.
Embarkation

Super Fast Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food and drinks were okay. Not the best but not horrible. A lot of the dishes were bland. There were not a large variety in foods. It was pretty much the same thing repeated over and over again. The drinks were good but limited.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Wonderful Jungle Pool area. The 19th Deck was my favorite because of the Aqua park. The water slides were super fun. I also enjoyed the zip lining onboard.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Not much entertainment going on. The discos were pretty much empty most nights. And the theater shows were mainly italian opera shows. There were not a variety of theater entertainment. The very last show at the theater was a Micheal Jackson tribute and I have to rate it 5 stars. They really did great with that one. But the rest of the shows literally had me struggling to stay awake.
Children's Programs
I did not travel with children
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Being an annual cruiser and experiencing the cruising life I have to say that the service and staff are poor and mediocre with a small exception to maybe one person who was helpful. The rest walked around with an attitude when stopped to ask questions. I did not appreciate that at all.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything about the ship itself is luxurious and beautiful. I did not notice anything dirty. I rate them 5 stars on that one.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The comfort was great. Big sized room. Lots of storage space and a decent sized balcony. The bathroom was a bit small but it wasn't a big deal.
Ship tip
Be ready to spend lots of money onboard the MSC Seaside. Also, be ready to not have many dining options.
Loved Ocho Rios Jamaica. We did not book an excursion but we walked 5 minutes from the cruise port to Turtle Beach. There is a $3 charge per person for the beach which is not bad at all since it's super close to the ship and I was even able to still use the ships wifi on the beach. The water is super clean and it's a white sand beach. The locals are a bit persistent. There is security guards at the beach. We also enjoyed authentic Jamaican food and beer.
Absolutely had an amazing time. We booked an excursion through MSC for the combination of dolphin encounter and stingray city. It was super fun. The ride to Dolphin Cove was about 20 minutes. We had Air Conditioning in the Van which was great since it was about 98°F outside and the sun was really strong. I definitely recommend this excursion to everyone. Well worth the $119 per person .
It was nice. I had a good time but it's a bit confusing trying to get out of the cruise port. Other than that I enjoyed Cozumel Mexico. We canceled the excursion that we originally booked due to weather conditions. I recommend checking out the restaurant called Tacos y Tequila. The food was amazing and so were the drinks and the staff.
Loveeee Nassau Bahamas. This is my 3rd time visiting Nassau but the first time visiting Junkanoo Beach. I had a great experience. I recommend visiting Junkanoo Beach where you can swim in the crystal clear water and enjoy the white sand beach. There are shops on the beach for souvenirs. I also enjoyed a 30 minute neck, shoulder and back massage right on the beach for $25. Right next to the massage spot is a really cool spot for drinks and cuban cigars called Jyah. The owner was super friendly and entertaining. There is also free wifi at Jyah.
Thank you for your review. I have read several reviews regarding MSC and feel I will pass on them for awhile. Passenger reviews are very important to me for future cruises. We are all different and attitudes are also import when cruising. Thank you so much for YOUR honest review.
