Review summary

I would recommend my colleague to work with but not to sail with MSC because the lack of entertainment and being diverse with the entertainment especially when you’re cruising for 7 days can be boring. Bars closing at 1 or 2 in the morning is obscene because we’re on a cruise ship. Why wouldn’t there be a bar open during the night time. It forces individuals to result to going to bed instead of enjoying vacation. The lack of Day time parties at the pool side compared to other cruiselines declared the amount of boredom for a number of cruise members I spoke to. The restaurant food at the seaside restaurant and the buffet needed more selections and daily. The food was tasteless and options were scarce. As for this drink package, I was unable to request dark rum because only light rum was in my package! That is completely ridiculous. Rum is rum and the fact that I couldn’t receive dark rum when the package said Bacardi rum & Coke already dropped my evaluation to a 4. Lastly, when the bartenders take our cards to scan, place my card back in my hand especially when my hand is out waiting to receive my card back. Slamming or placing my card on the counter is rude and uncalled for.

Main dining and buffet food was the same every night except for Italian night and that food was OKAY! Buffet was pizza, burger, fries EVERY NIGHT! Food was overall nasty and bland!!

Entertainment was horrible. Music was not diverse, there were no activities during the day such as other cruise lines with music playing my poolside to get people dancing. The “comedy” was a joke and not funny AT ALL. DJs were garbage.

People were nice! Only problem I had was with the bartenders who received my card to scan from my hands and while my hand is out to receive my card back, my card is then placed on the counter or slammed! Completely rude!

Clean but bathroom is completely too small. Toilet is next to sink and shower not giving enough space to move around and shower is completely small.

@THEBRAZ it is definitely not a party ship my any means but it did not stop us from having a drink in our hand whenever we wanted. We made friends with some people from Ireland and had a good time they loved to have a few. Did not have a lot of activities like the funny stuff like a belly flop contest etc lots of soccer because of being European which is fine but the sports bar does have all the sports on you need. As for music and a dj 😂. I couldn’t take my husband his beer while he was in the pool to take a sip without getting whistle blown and yelled at. However make the best of it and have fun we did.

Im sorry its vacation bars should be open 24 hours There should be live party music or DJ somewhere at all times especially by the pool until dark if you want to relax stay in your room or sit in the yacht club I go on this cruise in two weeks and the negative reviews are not making me happy when I vacation I want to party from the minute I walk on the ship until I disembark I am not a lush I could be serious when I’m at work vacation is time to party enjoy yourself and drink a lot

I think you and I were the only ones that have complained about the bars. Mine was the jungle bar always closing at 6pm between 2 pool venues open till 10pm just a inconvenience. Sorry if it makes me sound like a lush but it was just an observation that I found odd and wanted to share as this is a review.

Sounds like you need to do more research. MSC is not known as party ships.
