Review summary

The MSC Seaside is a beautiful, clean ship and a peaceful, relaxing adventure. I met several women from different cities who were also solo travelers or with family groups. I have planned to book more cruises on MSC as this is my third one with this cruisline. I did not care for all the children in and out of the casinos and bars, sitting in areas where they shouldn't be allowed. Other than that, I didn't have any problems with the ship, staff, meals, casino or the cruise in general.

Embarkation

Easy welcome onoard and I was number 6 off the ship!! Streamlined.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I would rate 5 star except for the buffet. It was so crowded all the time I passed through but it was very clean!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I always enjoy the casinos! I really liked the host's energy. She was very friendly and accommodating!

Children's Programs

What I do not care for is the large amount of minor children [including the little ones] running through the bars and casinos. They should NOT be in the casino sitting at slot machines or sitting on bar stools in the South Beach bar. there is a children's club onboard and parents should be required to have them assigned to the club outside of excursions, dinner, meals etc.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My room attendant was Frederick. He was very professional and polite. He deserves a medal for putting up with all those noisy children!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was SO clean and staff were constantly cleaning. the food and dining areas were exceptionally clean, which I prefer.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was pleasantly surprised with an upgraded balcony cabin. I always book interior cabins because I am rarely in there. It was nice to be able to sit out and read on my balcony and view the scenery when leaving the ports.

Ship tip

Eat in the dining room for breakfast and lunch instead of the buffet. The buffet is extemely crowded all the time meals are being served.

I have been there before but I had a scheduled tour which was GREAT. Rick Lake from Twin Excursions was a knowledgable host/guide. I got a chance to see the French side of the island and learn some of its history!!

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

It was raining and I have been there before.

Disembarkation
