Review summary

I was 1st time cruiser, this ship was amazing. Staff was very friendly, good communication. We had a low level drink package which was advertised as Heinken and Miller Lite beer and house red/white wine, when on the ship we find out it basically contained any drink under $6. So there was quite a few vodka, rum, drinks we could get for free.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was smooth. For a ship of this size 5000 passengers, we had no more than a 10 min line wait to check in and then got right on the ship. It was not crowded at all

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffet food was great, the choices were endless. There is no way anyone could not find something that they would like. We only did buffet and main dining, and quality of food in all the resturants was very good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I felt the pools were to small and the middle was to deep 6 + feet. The only way to enjoy the pool was to hold on the side of the wall, not very enjoyable and it would get crowded beuase that was the only spots to use. I think the main pool deck should have had more activites to pump up the crowd, it was a little tame. Belly flop competion was the best thing all week. The shows and staff were enjoyable and alot of fun.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
They were great, enjoyed the personalities and dances they taught, music played, etc.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was so friendly (Christian Jan), alwasy asked how we were and if he could do anything for us. The bar service was also really good and most were very plesant and had smiles.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Design was great, good flow, never felt crowded. Very clean, of course the ship is only 1 year old.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was good. The bathroom was a decent size compared to other ships. Room was clean.

Ship tip

Pools are to deep and you have to claim a spot to hang on the ledge.

When you go to get a taxi, it was complete Chaos. There were locals running the 'car port area' and they were yelling at each other, it turns out a lot of them are for 'organized tours' and then there were regular taxi's just waiting to take someone to a place. We stood around for a good 15 min not getting any service and we asked and they would just forget about us. So you have to be persistent and keep asking till you find the right person that will help you.

Nassau, Bahamas

To many locals haggling you everywhere from time you get of the ship and the entire time walking the main streets and shops. It got to be to much for me, I don't mind the 1st wave when you get off, but give me my space and leave me alone.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was not crowded. We did the carry our own luggage of the ship and it wasn't very clear at what time we could do that. It said 10am, but I have a feeling we could have got off at any time, since we had our luggage.
