Review summary

I went on 8/11/18. The ship left at 7 pm. We had a sea day the following day and we took the kids to the water adventure park. That is a huge plus, and it is large. The water slides are great. The breakfast buffet food never changed. The lunch and dinner buffet changed slightly each day, but not enough. It was very consistent day to day. The shows were not my type. The shows had weird names and the costumes were more antique looking. They also had an opera type show that put me to sleep. I prefer Carnival's shows.

The breakfast lines for the omelettes weren't long. But, the breakfast food NEVER changed. It got boring very quick.

The shows were great, but they were kind of weird and not our style. They are different than Carnival's, which I prefer, and the theater is smaller. You ALWAYS have to reserve seats for a show and they have people checking to make sure.

The ship is beautiful, but unfortunately it doesn't have large area to hold parties like Carnival's. The MSC Seaside has a large round structure on the 18th floor that is in the way.

I would suggest you stay with carnival. I can’t believe what you said I was just on fit first time entire cruise was outstanding from top to bottom shows were best I have seen at sea this was my 50 th cruise so I’m not a novice

How much choices do you need..the breakfast buffet is massive..evening meal had a nice choice..also a very good choice in speciality menu...shows were very well done and entertaining...its nice to get something different..i taught the music in time show was very well presented..’’opera” jacksons and beatles in one show..enjoyed that one..large variety i taught overall a great cruise..staff were very friendly..

Breakfast is kind of hard to change up that I feel is a stupid and pointless comment if you wanted something different for breakfast go to the main dining room the buffet is pretty general
