Review summary

Overview of MSC Seaside August 2018 Western Caribbean Cruise from Miami. Embarkation was smooth and got in the ship in around 30 minutes from entering the terminal , to the ship atrium. The atrium was INCREDIBLE and welcomed you right onto the Italian Megaship. The staff were extremely friendly and were eager to help with anything that you needed. -The main pool was impressive with a one deck design and a curved top deck to allow for maximum deck chair space. We found this extremely crowded throughout the cruise and tended to relax near the Jungle Pool tip deck , as it was much quieter and we enjoyed the vibe a lot more. -Both pools had a really nice bar setup with friendly staff and Gelato. The Miami Beach pool had a nice shaded seating area also to relax. However the Jungle Pool had an excellent bar with AMAZING staff and a really nice covered seating area also. -Fantastica Balcony Cabin (12141) was very spacious and had a huge balcony with a modern design. The bathroom was quite limited but worked just fine but lacked some shelf space and cabinets. However the bathroom wasn’t very clean and had multiple hairs around the toilet and shower when we first went into the room , and stayed like that. The cabin was all in all clean and very spacious for 3 people. -The entertainment and shows were incredible . The parties , bar games and performances by the crew were all amazing, period. -The only downside to our cruise was the restaurant. We had the 9:30 sitting and were excited to try some Italian Food. When we walked in , we spent 15 minutes trying to find table 216 , which didn’t seem to exist and the head waiter didn’t know where it was either . After pushing 2 tables together , we sat down for a meal. We ordered drinks and didn’t receive them until 30 minutes later . We then ordered our food and it was delicious! But the service seemed abit slow. The main meal came out much later and it looked amazing , we had the lamb . We asked for a sauce with the lamb and it didn’t arrive until the main course was nearly finished . We then had dessert and it was also delicious . We ended up leaving the restaurant until 11:45 , which we were urged to do as the dim lights went bright to let us know that we needed to finish . We tried the restaurant a second night and found the same slow service , so then opted for the buffet the rest of the cruise . The food was amazing in all eating areas , the service in the restaurant just let it down a litttle bit. Overall a great , fun , action packed cruise prefect if your looking to have a fun filled holiday . Would definitely cruise MSC again !
