Review summary

For a short cruise with our little guy, it was absolutely perfect. This was our first cruise on MSC and we will definitely be going again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Having a 1 year old they escorted us to the elevator, and got us right up to check in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We only ate at the buffet, and we were pleasantly surprised by the options and variety of the food available. We also loved how they had a separate line for the kids which made it a lot easier to get our little guy food. With the non alcohol drinks it was easy to get drinks any time. There was plenty of staff asking if we needed anything.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Our little guy loved kids play time. Mostly had the room all to himself. Plenty of toys for the kids, we rarely saw the staff in there. But it was only us so there really wasn’t a need for them.

Entertainment

Didn’t go to any shows

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
He loved the kids club

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff were wonderful, they are very quick to help and get a high chair when needed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything looked great. Clean and organized. The layout was perfect, I’m sure I didn’t see everything on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfort was good. Beds were nice and the pillows were like home. We wish there was a place to put a stroller, but other than that it was good.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
We just stayed in the port shops area and went back to the boat. We really don’t care for Nassau.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Port was absolutely beautiful. We want to go back for sure. We were one of the first on the island so it was great to get our spot. Then when it got crowded we headed back to the ship.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We had to wait until our tag was called. Not bad but wish we had a lower number being with our 1 year old.
