Review summary

The MSC Seashore is a beautiful ship and we absolutely love the 2 days on the private island, as well as going to Costa Maya, MX and Cozmel, MX. The crew is amazing. We are looking forward to another trip shortly.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent, we were there a bit early prior to the time they assigned but were allowed on to enjoy our cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We only ate in the main dining room once for the lobster tail & Shrimp and Filet Mignon. It was well worth it, although we did feel a bit rushed and service was a bit slow. The buffet had many of the items they had on the menu in the dining room and we could eat when we wanted.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We relaxed by the pool and spent a lot of time in the casino.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows were amazing, as well as musicians. We spent much of our time listening to the awesome music around the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service and staff were friendly and on hand when needed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is beautiful and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Beds are a bit hard. Cabin Stewart put a mattress pad on it which made it more comfortable. Shower very small. Otherwise, cabin is very comfortable and always kept clean and balcony is amazing.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
I love going out of Port of Canaveral. Very easy for us since we are from Florida

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE spending 2 days back to back on their private island. There are plenty of chairs, it is well kept, clean, and you can come and go as you like. I was disappointed that the lighthouse show was not able to go on due to hurricane damage, but I know that could't be helped. We've seen it on past cruises with MSC and its awesome. I would miss the other ports just to visit the private island

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
3 big ships at this port at the same time, so very busy, but it was good. No excursion as we were not sure what weather would be like

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
No excursion as we were not sure what weather would be like. We went shopping. Lots of people with other ships in port also.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We did walk off and it was so easy. We were in car by 8:00 and headed home
