Review summary
This was an inexpensive cruise. To port that I’ve already been at, but it was fun to go back. The MSC private island is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing one of my favorite spots.Embarkation

Food and Dining
Marketplace Buffet
The first time I sailed on MSC the restaurants closed at night and the buffet had an hour or two between meals that were closed. This time it was open until 2 AM and you could always go get something to eat during the day. They had a really nice selection. I would always walk to the back of the boat as there were different options there than there were in the middle or front of the buffet.
Madison Theatre
This theater and the entertainment every single night was amazing. As good as any I’ve ever seen on.
Butcher's Cut
Because I was a Diamond member I received one free specially restaurant and I chose this one. It was good, but I wouldn’t pay the extra price. It wasn’t that much better than the complementary dinner.
Onboard Activities
The Aft Infinity Pool
This was a nice area for adults only. The only problem is on one side of the boat near the pool was the smoking section so you had to sit on the other side if you didn’t want to sit in that smell.
Long Island Pool
Compared to most boats I’ve been on. I could find a lounge chair and relax here every time. There isn’t an upper deck all the way around the pool so it seemed windier with less protection from the wind, but we still had sunny days so it was good.
Pirates Cove Aquapark
This was a great family, friendly gem on the boat. The waterslides were fun and kids had a great place to play.
Entertainment
Le Cabaret Rouge
The entertainment in here was fantastic. Almost as good as the main show in the main theater. The layout of this venue was not great to watch a show. If you were on the front row, you could see, but then seats and tables in the back were there for lounging, not for watching the show because you couldn’t see the stage. The karaoke night was really well done on this trip with great singers.
