A really good cruise! We would definitely get onboard again! I finally found a waterslide I can enjoy!! The brown open top one! I have to sit up and no tunnels, darkness and this 1 was excellent with nice twists and turns!
Embarkation
3 out of 5
NOT meaning to sound snobbish at all, people: We should've had Priority Boarding which should be much quicker than others with our room/luggage ready for us, 1 bag of free laundry each, 2 free drinks each, and a free "you gotta pay for it"dessert each as we are Platinum on Carnival so they "upgraded " us they said, but didn't. We were actually bumped down to the equivalent of Gold so we got NO perks whatsoever, sadly disappointing! Look up all of Carnival Platinum perks and you'll see why we were disappointed.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
OMG, I fell in LOVE with the food!!!! Their desserts and all day buffet drinks actually beat Carnival and Royal Caribbean, in my personal opinion!!!
Manhattan Restaurant
1 out of 5
Absolutely horrible for us!!! Waited 6 minutes on bread and even longer for water! Our waiter food shamed me twice when I only ordered an entre. He seemed extremely shocked and tried to repeatedly push the appetizers and desserts onto me. Never did the diningroom again that week. Buffet was excellent so we stuck with that!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Just not enough activities for a sea day nor at night. No comedy at all and not enough different music venues. Thank God we had a balcony to sit out on at night!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had excellent customer service and the entire staff, except our DR waiter the first night, was very friendly towards us!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
5 stars for CLEANLINESS!!! 3 stars for ship design!!! Ship is too boxy and did not flow easily!!! Elevators were easy enough to use but my god... the younger generations didn't pay a damn bit of attention to the correct way to use them! UGH!!!
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved our balcony on Spa Level!!! Spacious balcony... bigger than Carnival's I will tell ya!!! Lol
Ship tip
I am just gonna go ahead and say this: Don't have way too high expectations if you're Platinum on Carnival and it is a very nice ship to sail on. We'd certainly get onboard again!
Been there 21 times so far... 22 is in 2 months lol so I love it. Hubby is over it! LOL For me, it's like revisiting an 'ol friend at this point. I gotta get up and watch us sail by that little "white"... needs repainting!... lighthouse and the white house directly across from Margheritaville has been dubbed "my house" as I've seen it's former owners enjoying it then every year watched as it's been sadly abandoned after a bad hurricane damaged the hell out of it around a decade ago. I shall weep alittle when we sail by it as it's no longer there..... ANYWAY, Nassau has sunken alot of money into the Port and it's absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to walk through now!!!
Thank you for your review. Maybe next cruise do take a look into the Yacht Club experience. This will truly give you priority embarkation and disembarkation. Along with tender service. Also reserved seats at the show. Lastly you will have a butler and concierge service. Also you will get to the diamond membership quicker.
YC is the best way to cruise with MSC.
