All in all not a good cruise at all. I have been on 24 cruises and this would be 23 or 24 on my list, the Carnival Sensation was a crap ship, this one is new but there was more to do on Sensation.

Food and Dining

So outside of the Buffet you really do not have any free options, it is all paid. My wife is GF and they had a midnight buffet and while others had many choices they told my wife to eat cold cuts and a salad.
Onboard Activities

Very, very limited. They have one show per night, no comedy club, just not at all what we are used to.
MSC Signature Casino

I do not gamble but my wife and our adult kids did. Very nice that it is smoke free. We actually enjoyed our time there.
Entertainment

The one we did get in and see was ok at best.
Children's Programs
No kids with us.
Service and Staff

Other than our dining room (Central Park) the crew was basically was not very friendly or helpful. They have a long way to go if they are going to make it in the USA.
Ship Quality

Layout is just weird, you cannot get to the front of the ship at all for a view unless you have paid for the Yacht Club.
Cabin / Stateroom

Do not stay here. They gave us an upgrade from an interior to this balcony (we did not ask or was told it happened.) We were right underneath the marketplace where at 3:30 AM you start hearing rolling carts and loud thuds.
Ship tip
If you are not willing to pay the big money for yacht club then find a better cruiseline. To me they only care about those folks. We saw this over and over.
The beaches are nice, but due to "technical difficulties" we did not see the Lighthouse light show, this was after they had us all on the beach and told us to get excited it was starting in 10 minutes.
Huge improvement to the pier area, it is nice and airy. But Nassau is still Nassau, once you are outside of the gates it is the same. Next time I will just stay on the ship.
MSC has been a part of the USA market since at least 2007. Our first (and last) cruise with them was in 2009. I'm still waiting to give them a second chance as I'm seeing a lot of the same complaints and problems we had all these years ago unless you book Yacht Club.
