Review summary

Our first cruise with the perfect itinerary & port of calls for us - I would strongly recommend anyone who is thinking about doing this cruise - sailing was perfect, go for it & enjoy!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Our bags taken from us, we received a number & we were on board ship all with a 45 min span

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We dined every evening in the dining room & received full attention from our waiter Sedana - I’d previously read reviews from someone to try the dining restaurant on the first night - I was happy I did!! Food portions small but after 3 course it was plentiful

Il Tucano Lounge

4 out of 5

Fab lounge - we got invited to a private function here to meet with the captain & crew

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did 2 shows, spent some time in the casino every night - good fun - at the end of the week we left up 30 bucks 😛

Casino

Good sport

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We saw 2 shows - one night was called radio Gaga with Freddie Mercury music 🎶

Children's Programs

We dined at 9:30 and went for a stroll on deck most nights

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our dining room waiter Sedana was amazing & had our drinks chilling beside our table every evening

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was spotless clean & well maintained - A beauty!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Rooms had plenty of storage space for our impact clothes. We stored our suitcases under the bed. Bed was big & comfortable. Clean towels daily, bed made & with the comfort of the balcony we had the added space

Ship tip

Beautiful ship, staff friendly - buffet appeared a bit chaotic alright but overall this ship was amazing & please ignore some of the bad reviews you read as I was nervous after reading them & none of it was true - Yes the musica is an older ship but she is still beautiful & kept very well

Ports of call

Venice, Italy

5 out of 5
We spent one night in Venice before embarkation - it was our 4th time in Venice but definitely a place to see at least once in a life time

Brindisi, Italy

5 out of 5
We did not do an excursion, we just stroked around the town visiting monuments & churches as we stroll. We tried the most delicious ice cream here - vanilla with tiny pieces of sponge dipped in some raspberry (tasted like trifle)

Katakolon (Olympia), Greece

5 out of 5
Again a most beautiful port where we visited Olympia - shops were cheap here for bags

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
My fave of the lot - I woke up & went on to the balcony we were already at the most beautiful port

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

4 out of 5
It was lovely to see Athens, it was very hot & crowned with tourists, we did the hop on hop off bus with the tickets provided by the ship for a reasonable fee

Sarande, Albania

5 out of 5
Again a lovely port we stayed by the port strolling through the shops & stalls

Dubrovnik, Croatia

4 out of 5
Delighted I saw the game of thrones experiences & the beautiful walls of Dubrovnik but next time I go to Croatia I’ll go to a difference part - it took out bus 45 mins to get to the old town & only 16 mins to return to ship

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fast & very organized not at all like the terrible reviews I’d previously read about people pushing & shoving
