Review summary

A good introduction to cruising however if you are looking for a luxury cruise then this isn’t for you - food really lets this ship down

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Quite chaotic as trying to get so many people on the ship - took around an hour

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We ate in the restaurant on the first night - food portions were small and the menu was very limited - we ate at the buffet restaurant for the rest of the week. This is what really lets the ship down - in peak hours it resembles a bun fight ! Everyone is fighting for a table and food , the food on the whole was nice however was always cold. Also there was no consistency, some nights there was a good selection and on other nights there was not much to choose from - most dishes were highly salted too

Onboard Activities

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
We found waiters and room stewards very friendly and helpful . Shop staff and customer service staff quite abrupt and rude

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was very clean and tidy, however . Be warned that smoking is allowed on this ship which we found very off putting - smoking was allowed in the Casino and on all decks

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Really liked our cabin , we had a balcony which was a plus. Cabin was roomy with plenty of storage space

Ship tip

Do not go to buffet restaurant in peak hours - allow at least an hour for the queues to die down
