Overall we enjoyed our cruise. It was in December so it’s not too surprising we caught some stormy weather. I was disappointed that MSC charged extra fees for many things that I think should have been included such as activities or drinks (I understand alcohol is different but coffee and juice throughout the day would have been nice).

Very helpful taking care of it ahead of time
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We loved our main dining room experience each night. The staff was so good and attentive. The buffet was great, always stocked with food!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We swam in the pool and played at the arcade and bowling. It was a lot of fun. I was surprised we had to pay for the arcade and bowling separately though.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Live music with Candace was great! She was ver talented and entertaining each night. We also caught one stage show and enjoyed it!
Children's Programs
I didn’t take my son to it
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly! We loved our waiters Christopher Kisaghi from Kenya and Kimberly Dorego from the Philippines. They were so great! Our room steward Cesar was great as well. All other staff was friendly and worked very hard to ensure everything was clean.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Yes we always saw staff cleaning everything. That was very reassuring with so many people on board.
Cabin / Stateroom

I knew it would be tight but it was roomier than I expected. We had a queen size bed plus a crib for our son that the staff provided. That was extremely helpful.
Ship tip
Be prepared to pay extra for just about everything. I was surprised and disappointed by that as I thought a lot of that stuff should have been included. But overall I liked my experience with MSC. I also wish MSC communicated information a little bit better like our dining information.
We didn’t do any excursions. We had two children under two years old so that made it harder to do anything. But where we got off the ship, we had to use a taxi or Uber to get anywhere. I would have liked to walk instead.
We didn’t do any excursions but got to walk around and explore Nassau a little bit. The weather cut our time short but it wasn’t cold, just very rainy.
I would have liked to know that we could’ve just walked off the ship with our luggage. We didn’t know that was an option. So we felt that it was kinda wasted time waiting around to disembark. I’m the only one in my party who eats breakfast so I got to eat but it would have been nice to know all our options
We loved this ship and was on it Dec 22
I think this is the prettiest ship of them on. I read all the fine print on the website and my documents and that’s how I knew about the walk off. I hate you didn’t know that. It’s much easier. I love your review and glad you enjoyed in spite of the weather changes!! Thanks again for the review
Thanks for sharing your experience. Even if you cruised before, it helps you to do a little research before you book to know what’s included and what isn’t. Maybe you did, but it seems like you were surprised certain things cost extra.
Glad you had a good time overall. Sorry to hear you had to pay for coffee/ juice. Unless something has changed since my last MSC cruise this September, coffee/tea/iced tea & juice (?) (I don’t drink juice) was free at least at the buffet area & main complimentary restaurant’s. As far as certain entertainment activities, yes, pp/payment is required. A few weeks ago a fellow ShipMate posted the drinks menu which included complimentary & drinks package. For your future cruise, if you book thru MSC, ask your Concierge what will be included & what requires an additional fee. That goes across the board. Different cruise lines offer different incentives included w/ your booking. Let me also suggest you join the rewards program. Cruise lines offer a nice variety of perks with each tier, just like other loyalty/reward programs. Thanks for sharing your experience & Happy Cruising 🤩⚓️😎❣️‼️
