Review summary

This was our first and only cruise. MSC cruise food in the buffet is very disgusting!! Not even a dog would eat that food that was prepared. However, the formal dining food was edible but the portion was very small. Some staff members were very warm while others treated us as if we don't matter. I must give them credit for keeping a very clean ship. It was spotless!! They don't notify you that if you eat or drink from the mini bar you will be charged, thank God hubby and I are not gluttonous and we only had a water from there. They don't allow you to bring any irons, curling irons, flat irons etc. They provide laundry service instead of providing a area for customers to iron. We had to use their ironing service because hubby clothing needed to be ironed. It was a big mistake because the pants had two seams and they were still wrinkles in the clothing!! BIG waste of money!!

I’m not a fan of MSC but I’m calling it! I guarantee, your dog would eat food from that buffet. As I’m sure you noticed, lots of people were eating the food also and many were enjoying it. It’s fair to say what you didn’t like about it but there are plenty of actual things on MSC to complain about without dramatic exaggerations.

I'm not a fan of MSC, but I agree that you need to do research before you book a cruise, especially if it's your first time or a new line. It would help greatly with your confusions and complaints. Also, minibars always have price lists inside, so clearly they aren't free.

All cruise lines and all hotel rooms charge you for eating out of the minbar, you must know that. As for dogs won’t eat from the buffet is over the top ridiculous.

Sounds like cruising is not for you. But if you want to try it again I would suggest that you do a lot of research. Go on youtube and watch a bunch of videos. It will help you understand what it is like to cruise and there is a big difference between a 3 or 5 day cruise and a 7 or longer day cruise. Thank you for your review
