So disappointed with this cruise. We were setting up a big family vacation and this was a choice but was so disappointed with what we encountered ..MSC is the Spirit Air of cruise ships

The island was not equipped to handle the hotness ..no shelter from the sun ..of course they offered umbrellas but for a fee..the private island is your main attraction it should have all Amenities included

Umbrella's are free at the first beach off the ship. Also it's a brand new island so it's going to take awhile before all the trees offer shade.

I’m sorry you didn’t like your cruise I too LOVE MSC we cruised 2-7 night with Meraviglia before it moved to NY. The crew was amazing and so amazing with tipped slot to let them know how much we appreciated them I’m sad that I can’t get to NY. And only hope that ship comes back south. We made so many friends with the crew. Just chatted one this morning. Please try again maybe this Fall. Thank you

I really like MSC especially their smaller ships. But considering that August is the prime month for vacationers around the world it may have just been the time you cruise. You may want to try them again on a smaller ship.

That stinks that you did not enjoy your vacation. I actually love MSC's private island. In comparison to other lines, Perfect Day at Cocoa Cay is smaller and talk about nickle and diming! It's a theme park more than anything else. MSC was going for the tranquil vibe and they did not miss the mark in my opinion. Hopefully you can try another cruise in the future that won't disappoint.

I've been on that ship 3 times and thoroughly enjoyed every day and will definitely sail again on her....been on 60 cruises of all the lines...I dont think I've ever have made more friends on any ships as much as MSC...sorry for experiences but they are definitely not spirit
