Embarkation

There were a lot of people with being such a large ship. The check in process could use a little tweeking to make it less chaotic

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We did not visit the specialty restaurants even though they looked great, the buffet had almost anything you could think of, and the dining room staff was amazing! They were the only reason we went to dinner there everynight. There was a drink that they had on the private island that I do wish I had known about at the start of the cruise but everything I had before that was really good too.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We did the behind the scenes tours of the ship and it would have been nice if the groups were smaller for the amount they charge for it. Depending on where you were half the group missed what the speaker was saying.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We saw a couple shows, I do wish they were longer, but I enjoyed them. The other things they put on like karaoke or trivia would have been more enjoyable if they would have actually adhered to the 18+ in the title but they had a lot of pre-teen and teens taking part in it as well.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our dinner wait staff was amazing! I was really sad when it was time to say goodbye the last night. We never met our room steward, there were a few rambunctious rooms on our hall so we assume he was pretty busy with them. The wait staff for the bars that we visited were great, they even remembered us and what we were drinking when they were in their other locations throughout the ship.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean. There were a couple irritations/concerns. The placement of the photographers around the ship prevented other guests from getting where they needed to go. Every night the corridor to our dining room was blocked by people waiting for a photographer. The other one is the pool deck, it is really really slippery when wet and multiple people of all ages fell when we were out there. The material they use for the floor out there needs to be changed or redesigned.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The only thing I wish was different about our cabin was the headboard was on the opposite wall so you could see out the glass door from the pillows.

Ship tip

Its a massive ship, be prepared to use the stairs often, elevators were hard to get.

Ports of call

Brooklyn, New York

3 out of 5
Did not do any excursions since this is where we got on and off the ship for the actual cruise.

Port Canaveral, Florida

Nassau, Bahamas

You must visit Shenanigan's on the island, the staff is amazing with the atmosephere to fit.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The island is beautiful. We climbed the lighthouse and learned a little about the history of the island.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Other than kids running into or hitting you, it was really smooth and pretty quick.
